Ranjita is at Associate Director level in the NHS and holds a Master in Statistics and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from UCL. Having held various analytical roles in her career, spanning the Civil Service, Insurance & Credit Rating, she now heads up a performance, information, data quality and data warehousing team at Moorfields Eye Hospital - a leading provider of eye health services in the UK and a world-class centre of excellence for ophthalmic research and education. Her role demands extensive analytical, problem solving, leadership and management skills. Under her leadership her team have won several accolades and gained much corporate recognition. She is currently a board member for the London Informatics Skills Development Network, looking to develop consistent standards and accreditation for informatics professionals within the NHS. She is also chair of the Black and Ethnic minority network at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Outside Moorfields she is an advisor to the governance committee of Saint Francis Hospice and a Trustee for a dementia care home, both located in Essex. Ranjita is also a keen musician and part of an Asian singing group called Suraloy and has participated in a range of social and cultural events as a performer as well had many opportunities to conduct and compere various high-profile events
