Brief synopsis
The symposium on “Understanding the Gita for Contemporary Youth: Pathways to Ultimate Truth” seeks to explore the enduring relevance of the Bhagavad Gita in guiding today’s youth through the complexities of modern life. In an age marked by rapid change, uncertainty, and increasing pressures, the timeless teachings of the Gita offer profound insights into purpose, ethical action, self-awareness, and inner balance.

The session, facilitated by the author, will engage participants in reflecting on how these philosophical principles can be meaningfully applied to contemporary challenges faced by young individuals—ranging from decision-making and career dilemmas to emotional resilience and the search for identity and fulfillment.

The symposium will be followed by the formal launch of the book Understanding the Gita: A Highway for the Young to Reach the Ultimate Truth, which presents these ancient teachings in an accessible and practical framework for the younger generation. The event aims to inspire thoughtful dialogue and encourage youth to embrace a path of clarity, responsibility, and self-realization.
