Mr. Das Gupta earned his first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India and did his Post-Graduation from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. Since moving to the UK in 2001 to work in the Financial sector, Mr. Das Gupta has done MSc. (Quantitative Finance) from University of London, Certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of various professional bodies in the UK and Denmark. He has worked in various capacities in Tier 1 investment banks and investment management companies in the UK and Europe for last 20 years. Mr. Das Gupta grew up in Ramakrishna mission under the tutelage of monks of the Ramakrishna order where the purpose of learning is to find harmony in all the religions. He is a voracious reader and his special interest lies in History, Philosophy and comparative religion and religious practices. Anindya Das Gupta has given several public talks on the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, the Vedas, Hinduism and mindfulness
